Delete Your Account

How to ask DASFADS to close your Client Portal and app account and delete your personal data.

This translation is provided for convenience. If there is any difference between language versions, the English version prevails.

Who can use this page

This page is for anyone with a DASFADS Client Portal account, which is also used to sign in to the DASFADS mobile app for iPhone and Android.

How to request deletion

In the Client Portal, open Account & security › Delete my account. In the DASFADS app, open Me › Delete my account. Enter your password and confirm. If you cannot sign in, email dasfads@dasfads.com from the email address registered on your account with the subject ‘Delete my account’ and your client number, and we will record the request for you.

What happens next

You receive an email straight away confirming your request and its reference (for example DEL-2026-123456). Until we complete it, you can keep using your account and cancel the request at any time from the same page. Download any documents you want to keep before we complete it.

What we delete

We close your account, sign you out of the portal and the app on every device, and delete your profile details, the documents in your portal, your notifications and the enquiries you sent us through the website, except the records described below.

What we must keep

Invoices, payment records and the documents we are required to keep under Nigerian tax, company and professional-surveying law are retained for the legally required period and then deleted. Security and audit records are kept for a limited period to protect accounts and investigate misuse. We also keep a record of the request itself (its reference, dates and outcome, without your name or email address) as evidence that we handled it. Retained records are not used for any other purpose. Our encrypted backups are overwritten within 7 days.

How long it takes

We complete your request within 30 days and email you when it is done. If we cannot complete it yet, for example while an invoice is unpaid or a legal hold applies, we email you the reason. If we refuse a request, we explain why, and you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
